Register Student for fall 2026
Exciting Changes Coming to HRC Youth Group – Fall 2026
As our youth ministry continues to grow, we are excited to announce a new structure for HRC Youth Group beginning in Fall 2026.
To better serve students at different stages of life and faith, we will be dividing the ministry into two age-specific groups:
Grades 6–9: Foundations of Faith
This group will focus on helping students build a strong biblical foundation as they prepare for and move through Confirmation. Our goal is to help students take ownership of their faith and develop confidence in what they believe and why they believe it.
Students will learn:
The core teachings of Christianity
How to study and understand the Bible
How to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
How to navigate middle and early high school years according to biblical truth
Building healthy friendships
Develop confidence in God's Word
This ministry is designed to move students from simply attending church to actively owning and living out their faith.
Grades 10–12: Faith & Future
As students approach adulthood, they begin asking important questions:
What should I do after high school?
Should I attend college, trade school, military service, or enter the workforce?
What gifts has God given me?
How can I use my faith in the real world?
This group will focus on preparing students for life after high school while helping them continue to grow spiritually.
Students will receive guidance in:
College and career exploration
Internship opportunities
Understanding various career paths
Identifying spiritual gifts
Discovering strengths, talents, and passions
Applying biblical principles to major life decisions
Navigating adulthood through a Christian worldview
Having spent 16 years as a professional recruiter, I have worked closely with employers and professionals across many industries and have developed a strong understanding of workforce trends and the skills that are becoming increasingly valuable in a rapidly changing, AI-driven world. We want to help students make informed decisions about their future while understanding that their ultimate purpose is found in Christ.
Our goal is not simply to help students choose a career.
Our goal is to help students understand who God created them to be and how they can faithfully use their gifts to serve Him in whatever path He calls them to pursue.
One Mission. Two Pathways. Countless Opportunities.
Whether students are preparing for Confirmation or preparing for college and adulthood, they will be equipped to navigate life according to biblical truth, grow in their relationship with Christ, and confidently live out their faith in an increasingly challenging world.
While spiritual growth is at the center of everything we do, youth group is also about having fun, building lasting friendships, and creating experiences students will remember for years to come. Both groups will have opportunities to participate in day trips, special events, age-specific weekend retreats, summer camps, service projects, and mission opportunities designed to strengthen both their faith and their relationships with one another. We believe some of the most impactful moments in a student's spiritual journey happen not only in lessons and small groups, but also through shared experiences on retreats and Mission Trips.
For our high school students, opportunities will expand even further. Students will have the chance to participate in domestic and international mission trips, serving communities while growing in their faith and leadership. Potential destinations may include places such as Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and mission sites throughout the United States. These trips are designed to help students live out their faith in practical ways, develop a heart for serving others, experience different cultures, and see God's work beyond their own community. Our hope is that these experiences will not only deepen their relationship with Christ but also create lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and a broader understanding of God's calling on their lives.
We are excited about this next chapter of HRC Youth Ministry and look forward to partnering with parents as we invest in the next generation of Christ-followers.
