2012 Mission to the Dominican Republic ~ Students International (aka SI): July 2 – 14

The Students International mission trip is a short-term outreach where participants and the poor come together cross-culturally to encounter God, share the Good News, disciple and serve others in a specific area of career choice or general interest.

Participants spend two weeks working alongside S.I. staff in an occupational setting called a ministry site.  Each ministry site has a different occupational focus:  finance, art, construction, dentistry, education, medical, media, physical therapy, social work, special education, and sports (girls and boys).  Housing is a gated camp setting, bunkhouses, dining hall, in-bunk bathrooms, chapel area in the mountain town of Jarabacoa.

This trip is for current 9th through college.

A DEPOSIT OF $100 IS DUE BY NOVEMBER 14TH TO RESERVE A SPOT FOR YOU!!  The check should be made out to “HRC YOUTH”.  On the memo line put “SI”, and put it in Mark Mast’s mailbox in the Church Office with STINIT Mission Trip on the envelope.  OR, mail it to the Church, address is:  143 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction, NY, 12533.
